Information for the 2026-2027 Gregory Awards Auditing Season
The 2026-2027 Auditing Season runs August 31st 2026 – September 6th, 2027
The 2026-2027 Season includes any production with performance dates after Labor Day of 2026 and up to Labor Day of 2027. Please be sure to submit your production to the correct season.
Information for Nominators:
Please use the button above to apply. Applications are reviewed by the TPS Awards Committee on a quarterly basis.
Quick Facts:
- Nominators see on average between 10-30 shows in a season
- Nominators will only be assigned productions within the regions indicated in their application
- Nominators receive at least one free ticket to all productions they are assigned (often producing organizations will offer a second ticket to invite a guest)
- Nominators must be active members of Theatre Puget Sound. Membership Scholarships are available.
If selected as a Gregory Award Nominator:
You will receive your assigned shows via email. Once you have logged into your account on the platform, please return to your email for a direct link to more information about your assigned production, including the form to cast your nominating votes.
Information for Entrants:
PLEASE WATCH THIS QUICK VIDEO PRIOR TO ENTERING YOUR PRODUCTION
Entry submissions will remain open all season long.
- We urge you to please submit your productions as early as possible and at the very least 2 weeks before opening night. Submissions of productions entered less than 2 weeks prior to opening night may not be accepted.
- 10 complimentary tickets will need to be available for each Regular Production.
- 5 complimentary tickets will need to be available for Limited Run Productions.
- Nominators will contact your box office/ticketing contact to reserve their tickets.
- Entrants will be notified via email after their completed submission has been received and approved. TPS will only contact you if there is an issue with any of your submissions.
- Awards presentation ceremony: late October.

Theatre / Production Eligibility:
For any production to be considered for the Gregory Awards, the following guidelines must be met:
- Produced and rehearsed primarily in the Greater Seattle Metropolitan area or surrounding regions.
- Performed a minimum of 3 weekends OR 12 performances. OR minimum 1 weekend and 2 performances for the Limited Run category.
Limited Run
A production qualifies as a Limited Run if it meets either of the following:
- Presented across 2 or fewer weekends, or
- Includes fewer than 12 total performances
Full Run
A production is classified as a Full Run if it meets both of the following:
- Presented across 3 or more weekends, or
- Includes 12 or more total performances
Additional guidance:
- Staff may make final determinations in edge cases where scheduling structure aligns with the intent of the category system.
- Opening night within the season schedule (September – August of current season)
- Is not a staged reading
- Please make sure all your personal details are entered accurately, including contact details, especially for the ticketing contact.
- Please be prepared to arrange ticketing directly with Nominators.
- You are eligible to enter more than one category, as long as the work submitted meets the criteria. Your work will not be considered for categories that you have not entered.
- Organization must be a TPS member in good standing.
