Entering your production for Gregory Award Consideration:

Producers are welcome to submit all of the shows in a season at the start of their season, or you are welcome to submit one production at a time in the weeks prior to the opening date. We ask that you enter your submission at least two weeks prior to the opening date of your production to ensure we give our nominators ample time to secure their tickets.

Successful entrants will be notified via email after they completed their submission. TPS will only contact you if there is an issue with any of your submissions.

Productions are evaluated by Nominators on a 1–100 scale across each submitted category. Scores determine finalists at the end of the season. Review the Scoring Rubric.

Important Reminders:

1. Please be sure to select all categories in which you wish the production to be considered. Nominators will only score for the categories you select. 

2. You should only be selecting a single production type in the categories – do not select for both the categories of Outstanding Production Musical and Outstanding Production Play. You should select the option that best fits the production you are entering.

3. Your box office is responsible for communicating with nominators to help them secure their tickets. Nominators will make initial contact with your box office – it is important to the function of this program that your box office supports nominators in the securing of tickets.

IMPORTANT! The 2026-2027 Season includes productions with performances running through Labor Day of 2027 (September 6, 2027). If your production opens Labor Day weeked or after – please wait to submit your show for the 2027-2028 Season. TPS may ask you to re-submit your production on the correct form to ensure adequate timing for nominators to attend entered productions.
